They have also brought sophomore Emory Westburg into the mix, who is running cross country this year after running 11:00 for 3200m in track as just a freshman. This young core has championship experience and should keep Falmouth at the top of Class A for years to come.

Sophomores Nell McAllister and Emily Hutchins provide a strong young foundation that should keep this program competitive for years. This veteran-heavy lineup should be the favorite to win the Class B title.

Junior Kate Morrison leads the way and should challenge to be a top individual after a breakout track season, while the incredible depth of sub-22:00 runners gives the Bulldogs multiple scoring options. The X-factor here is incoming freshman Nora Schmidt, who has broken 18:00 for 5K on the track. Portland’s depth, experience, and frontrunning makes the Bulldigs a serious threat to win the Class A title.
