Boys Individual Rankings

The showdown between Merriam and Morris was everything we hoped it would be and more! The two ran side-by-side for 3.1 miles and in the end it came down to just inches between the two, with Merriam coming out on top.  Freshman Mateo Diaz continues his sensational ninth grade campaign and is now the fastest freshman ever from Maine.  The Class B individual picture remains close, with just 1.7 seconds between Mitchell and Gorneault in this one.

Week 2 Rankings (Posted 9/15/26)

Our top 3 remain unbeaten this season and all have dominated thus far.  Gorneault, too, has looked strong, only losing to #1 Morris in the preseason and since then winning by large margins.  James Vaillancourt enters the rankings for the first time and has taken a huge leap since last year, when his PR was in the 19s.  With Jesse Canfield now in the rankings, Yarmouth has 4 of the top 14.

Week 1 Rankings (Posted 9/8/26)

Our top three have confirmed their high rankings with early-season wins, and Bowen Mitchell joins them at the top as he is off to an undefeated start, too.  Freshmen Diaz and Wess soar into the top 10 after impressive performances to start the season.
