2026 Outlook:
Perry had a fantastic junior year in his first season running cross country.  Now, with a teammate ahead of him to push him, don’t be surprised if he takes a leap into the top 10 in Class A.

Class C South Regional: 6th place

2026 Outlook:
Lake thrived at the invitationals in 2025, placing well at the Southern Maine Classic and at FOC. Then, on the track, he put together top 10 finishes over 2 miles/3200m in both the winter and spring against Class A competition. He should be in the mix for a top 5 spot in C this year.

#21: Colby Daigle – Medomak Valley (Grade 12)

2026 Outlook:
Colby had a great postseason last year and is looking to use that as a springboard into 2026.  Expect him to break 17:00 early in the season and to thrive when the courses get hilly at the end of the season.

#22: Craig Paine – Madison (Grade 11)

2026 Outlook:
Paine had a great sophomore campaign, finishing amongst the best in the state at all the big races.  With another year of training, expect him to make another leap forward.   

#23: Noah Seigh – Camden Hills (Grade 11)

2026 Outlook:
Noah Seigh leads a team that has legit title hopes heading into the season.  Breaking 17 minutes as a sophomore is a huge accomplishment, and if he takes another step forward, he could be amongst the top few in Class A himself. 

#24: Harrison Crider – Gorham High School (Grade 12)

2026 Outlook:
Crider is one of three runners that could lead Gorham this year.  His performance FOC in particular showed an ability to compete with the best. If he stays healthy and packs up with his twin brother Harvey and teammate Owen Cummings, the Rams will be real tough to beat.

#25: Mateo Diaz-Pedrosa – Falmouth (Grade 9)

2026 Outlook:
Diaz-Pedrosa is probably the most intriguing prospect entering the 2026 season.  His track times suggest that he could run with the best in Class A right off the bat. The transition to 5K can be tough for young athletes, but don’t be surprised if he’s in the top 10 in Class A as a freshman.
